Removing a category

It is important to note that removing a category will also remove any templates within that category. If required, you can move existing templates to alternative locations within the template library, or you may wish to rename the category rather than remove it.

To remove a template category, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the template library branch in the console tree.

  2. Select the category to be removed.

  3. Right click and select delete category from the context menu. You are prompted to confirm that you wish to proceed:

    Delete category
  4. Click yes to remove the category.

When you are satisfied that all changes have been made correctly, click the main save button to save changes made in this session. Alternatively, use the cancel button to abandon all changes.
