The policy tester

The policy tester is used to create a test email and simulate the sending process, so you can ensure that automatic responses, redirection or blocking is applied correctly. Messages generated in the policy tester are never actually sent so you can select the most appropriate sender and recipient(s) for testing a policy, without concern. Using the policy tester, you can:

• Define a test message

• Save a test message for later use

• Load a saved message for testing

Then, having run a test, you access a process diagram and:

• View which policies have and have not been applied

• Check the reason why a policy is or is not applied

• Preview the message at any stage in the process

Finally, you can view original messages and their final output.
